Dyscalculia is a specific and persistent difficulty in understanding numbers, which can lead to a diverse range of difficulties with Maths.
Thanks for today Armande. I’m really glad I booked the appointment, feels like the final piece of the puzzle in understanding how H best learns. He said on the way home that he wants to come back soon- he adored meeting all the animals!
Thanks again. I had a thoroughly lovely afternoon too with coffee, Percy and the fire! Please pass my thanks to David for his kindness too
Dear Armande
Thank you so much for your report and kindness and support when you were testing F. She was so apprehensive about the testing, but you made it a relaxed and enriching experience.
Your report is amazing, such detail and so many really critical insights and strategies to support F ongoing. We are so grateful to you and your lovely husband and dogs who made us so welcome.
Once again thank you for what you have done for F. I can already see marked changes in her attitude and a proactive approach to her work and some of the things that she finds challenging. For example, she had a 6 o’clock lecture, nobody about and she literally couldn’t find the room. I always say where’s the lesson. We agreed the lesson was to put the work in and find the room beforehand . Yes, other people don’t have to, but you have many skills others don’t have too.
Love and best wishes
You are a star ⭐️
Thank you so much,
We had our EP visit as part of T’s EHCP application, she said she had never seen such a detailed report as Armande’s and said she didn’t do half the tests she normally would as Armande’s were superb
Received with thanks and please do pass on my thanks to all involved for an excellent and efficient service.Thank you for making the assessment so nice for A, she loved your dogs and seeing all of the animals!
From my very first phone call, I knew we were in the right place.
The report came through yesterday and I’m literally astounded that in just one assessment appointment, she has absolutely nailed everything we’d suspected for over five years.
We now have a report that confirms he has Dyslexia - but more importantly, we’ve got strategies (for school, for home and for the rest of his life) to help him.
On the day of the assessment, her husband chatted with me and put me at ease. He introduced me to some of their rescue animals. This couple are both truly special people.
The way ‘A’ engaged with us throughout the process so far has been nothing but astounding - and it doesn’t end with the assessment.
Up to now, every avenue has been blocked and doors have continually been shut, so it’s been very refreshing to work with someone who listened to us, listened to him and “got” my son - she understood everything we’ve been trying to say.
I can’t thank you enough! I now understand why ‘A’ is in such high demand.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Good Afternoon,
We just wanted to touch base and thank you again for your support with our son’s assessment in January 2023.
Following your recommendations, we have undertaken further private neurodevelopment assessments, and he has since been diagnosed with ASD and ADHD.
In addition, an Occupational Therapist referral has been successfully triaged and an appointment will be sent out in due course.
The purpose of this journey is to not label him but to put in place the support he requires for the remainder of his schooling and as he develops into a young man.
You are the first educational professional who has truly listened to us as parents and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Keep doing what you do and all the best.
Kind Regards,
D & N
